Demons ‘can compete’

MILDURA co-coach Ilario Cavallo believes his side can rub shoulders with any side in the competition if they are switched on.

The Demons remain winless in the SFNL and on the bottom of the ladder but were more than competitive on Saturday against undefeated Robinvale Euston, drawing level in the last quarter before falling by 15 points.

Coupled with a good showing earlier in the season in round three against the competition’s other unbeaten side, Irymple, the Demons have demonstrated an ability to play good football.
