IN late March 2017, a 14-year-old Caleb Ernst was pictured on the front page of Sunraysia Daily dreadlocked and looking dour after being sent home from his school, St Joseph’s College, for his hairstyle.
His choice of coif didn’t conform with the school’s rules.
The episode was reported statewide and the youngster stuck by his right to wear his hair as he liked and just moved on to another school.
