IT was a successful day at the track for the Carty family, with the stylish husband and wife crowned the Lady and Gent of the day.
Despite the overcast weather and a few sprinkles of rain, punters and socialites gathered trackside for a few drinks and a flutter at the Mildura Cup.
Mildura Racing Club manager Jarratt Farley said the day typically had a relaxed atmosphere, with yesterday’s event getting off to a positive start on and off the track.
