THE Langtree Avenue branch of Bendigo Bank will move to Eighth Street in October.
A bank spokesman said on Thursday the new location was more central and would provide a better service for customer and community needs.
“The new branch will also be more customer-friendly and feature a community hub — a dedicated community space at the front of the branch — which will be accessible later in the year,” he said.
“Direct customer notifications will occur in mid-September and all existing customer accounts will be automatically transferred to the new branch.
“All staff have been notified of the relocation and posters announcing the move were installed in the branch this week.”
