Tennis results: Schuler still in hot form

GEOFF Schuler continued to turn back the clock on the weekend winning Section One at the Mildura Lawn Tennis Club.

The veteran right-hander has been in great form this season.

The previous week he was runner-up, but was able to go one step better on Saturday, winning by one game from Xavier Kendall.

Schuler finished with the impressive score 24/9, while Kendall was on 24/10.

In the ladies’ top section, Chloe Barker and Brenda Hornsby finished with 24/18 apiece to share the honours.

The junior boys’ Division One winner was Anthony Demaria while in the girls’, Renee Affleck and Alana Wall tied on 18/11.
