ROBINVALE has a new mayor with the election of councillor Bill Moar by Swan Hill Rural City Council on Tuesday.
Cr Moar will replace Ann Young as mayor and will be in position until October 24, 2020 — the 2020 council election date.
“I hope to help council continue this positive trend and look forward to working with people in the Swan Hill, Robinvale and surrounding communities,” he said.
It will be his first term as mayor, following his election to council in 2016.
Cr Chris Jeffery was elected deputy mayor.
