TODAY marks the final round of pool games for Teagan Parker’s Victoria and Shania McKinnon and Sarah Telfer’s South Australia at the Australian Country Cricket Championships in Queensland.\
Former Workers Gol Gol cricketer Parker will lead Victoria against East Asia Pacific in the Twenty20 games, while the Settlers pair of McKinnon and Telfer face the hosts, with finals to start tomorrow.
Victoria and South Australia played off yesterday evening in their only match of the day.
Both were coming off wins in their late games on Tuesday, with Parker scoring a run-a-ball 38 and then taking 2/24 in her side’s victory over East Asia Pacific.
Telfer bowled one over for six runs in South Australia’s comfortable win over Western Australia the same day.
