BOOST Juice could find a home in Mildura Central by as early as spring this year.
The company advertised it was “actively seeking” a franchisee partner in Mildura on its website and in a newspaper ad.
Head of franchise development manager Ali Kurtdereli confirmed the company’s interest, saying Mildura was an attractive location for a juice bar.
“We see Mildura as a great opportunity to expand our regional footprint and as a thriving hub,” he said.
“A lot of things suit the Boost ethos, with the climate, and we are focusing on a lot more regional engagement so we have a few stores coming up in regional towns.”
Mr Kurtdereli said while the ad listed Mildura Central as a potential location, the location would be subject to a franchisee’s plans.
“No lease agreement has been signed so we are subject to finding a suitable applicant but we want to make sure that the person we partner with in the town has strong community ties, is involved in the community and adds a lot to the brand,” he said.
“Obviously, there are discussions with our leasing agents and Mildura Central leasing agents about having Boost there.”
Once the company has found a franchisee partner, Boost could be up and running by spring.
“Usually our timeline is anywhere between four and six months by the time they go through their training,” Mr Kurtdereli said.
“Probably just before spring, I would say.”
