VETERANS

WE have good news for the district veteran golfers.

The Wentworth Golf Club will be hosting vet golfers for an extra round.
It will be held between our next syllabus listed rounds at Red Cliffs and Merbein on Monday, April 20. Registration is 8.30am with a 9.30 shotgun start.

The cost will be $20 that covers competition and green fees and a lunch.

The club has seven carts for hire and it will be a single Stableford event.

This is great for our members and an opportunity to play at another course and support another club.

Contact details will be available at the Red Cliffs event to allow members to book carts.

Don’t forget to add this new date to your calendar.

Before then we have our next event in a little more than two weeks at Red Cliffs on the April 6 with  a single Stableford competition.

This will be the first event in which our ladies’ vets can participate. New members pay a once only $10 nomination fee and a $10 annual fee.

After that it reverts to a monthly $20 that covers a meal and that month’s event.

Over the year there are 10 events. In all there are another 11 times the association will conduct a game.

It’s great fun, mutually beneficial to members and district clubs and is excellent value.

So join us. If you’re over 50 years of age get along to Red Cliffs Golf Club on Monday, April 6, at 8.30am.

NTP was: Bill Slee (900, still not sure if it was on the 17th). Mr Risky went to Max Hodges with just 20 points.
