Top Swallow Bryson Lush flies high

BRYSON Lush is the 2020 Merbein & District Community Bank 97.9 Triple M Northern Mallee Sports Star of the Year for the month of March.

He was nominated by his home team of Irymple Cricket Club.

Bryson had a very successful first season with his new club.

He contributed 540 with the bat at an average of 38.57 and was also handy with the ball taking 20 wickets for the season.

Bryson was also named in the Sunraysia Cricket Team of the Year.

He spent the 2019 winter playing in the Yorkshire County for Killinghall Cricket Club.

As the March winner, Lush receives a voucher sponsored by Sportspower and is now eligible for the 2020 Merbein & District Community Bank 97.9 Triple M Northern Mallee Sports Star of the Year Awards to be held on February 13, 2021 at the Club Da Vinci, Mildura.

The Mallee Sports Assembly is now calling for May nominations for 2020. Nominations close on June 12.
