VETERANS

OUR next district round will be a busy one.

Players will be competing in championship games, then enjoy lunch before attending the AGM. This will be held at the Riverside Golf Club on November 9.

There are three weeks to go as November events are organised to accommodate the Melbourne Cup week. The scratch event will determine our overall champion and the A and B grade scratch and handicap winners.

There is an eligibility criteria for players competing in our championship game and that is that they must have played in a previous round. Players who have not complied can still play and be eligible for alternative prizes.

The AGM is expected to see some new faces in the executive as some incumbents have expressed a desire to retire.

They have contributed positively over many years but agree that new people bring new ideas. They are not difficult jobs and any new members can expect support in learning the ropes.
