LAST Wednesday the ladies played a par game, the A grade winner was Faye Englefield +1 from Sandra Marwood -2 on a countback.
In B grade the winner was Bobbie Ramsay square from Marg Fumberger on -5.

TUESDAY’S chicken dinner went to Bill Slee, it looks like Bill is the only one who can grasp the way to score par.
Thursday’s Stableford event went to Donny Sproh with a very good 38 points.
Runner-up Paul Reardon came in with 36 points.
Also with 36 were ball winners Max Hodges and Howard Hankinson.

Sunday’s stroke convincingly won by Max Hodges with 68 net, the 25 handicap is not far away.

ROGER Walder, the “Wednesday specialist”, is back winning the day with very close scoring on Wednesday’s comp.
The windy conditions on Saturday saw John Bell claim the win with a well fought 81/69, easily accounting for the rest of the field.

THE “ladies 9’ competition on October 20 was won by Elaine Henshall who scored 14 points, and Jean Moore was second with 13 points.
The par event on the same day resulted in a win to Ruth Rodi who scored +1; Valerie Whitelaw was second on -2.
Janet Stanbrook and Kim Ingram were third and fourth respectively on -3.
Sandra Hutchinson won the NTP on the second hole (1200 cm) and on the 10th (70 cm); and Carol Zimmerman won on the 12th hole (1200cm).
The men played single Stableford on October 21, and Ron Leamon continued his good form to win A grade with 40 points, with Trevor Rodgers and David Robinson second and third respectively on 39 points each.
In B grade Geoff Crozier scored 39 points for a win; John Edwards was second with 38 points; and Mick Killen was third with 37 points.
Balls were awarded to 21 players with scores of 35 or better, on countback.

The Captain v President teams event on Saturday was held in three grades.
A grade was won by Josh Mcaskill on 34 points, from Nick Katis and Neville Hodgetts both on 33 points.
Gavan Harrington scored 35 points to win B grade from Mark Pullman and Ray Quirk, both on 34 points.
In C grade there was a three way countback on 34 points, which resulted in a win to Ian Nimon, second was Peter Palazzo, and George Szentpay was third.
Nearest the pin prizes were won by George Szentpaly (first hole, 71 cm); Josh McAskill (second hole, 670 cm, which also won the Pig prize); Robert Briggs (10th hole, 376 cm); and Robert Pallot (12th hole, 426 cm).
The Mildura veterans competition on Monday 26 October resulted in a win to Steve Peters on 38 points, from Rob Toms on 37, and Bill Forrester on 36.
Balls were handed out to 15 players with 32 points or better, and Keith Williams won the nearest the pin prize on the 12th hole with a measure of 290 cm.

LAST Thursday was very special for one young Riverside girl.
Stephanie Baker (picture), at the amazing age of 13, was the much deserved winner of the Ladies Club Championships, making her possibly the youngest Female in our District to accomplish this feat.

One of our new ladies, Jan Lloyd, was all smiles after her nice 37 points to win on Tuesday.
The nine hole was won by Val Easterbrook (20 points), in front of Liz Wallace (19 points).
Brad Pitt with a mighty (77/68) was the Wednesday Monthly Award winner.
Paul Wilkinson also had a traffic round (79/69) to win A Grade, with Ned Klemm (84/70) runner up, after a four way count back against, Ash Robinson, Chris Baldock and Luke Jowett.
Gary McNally (102/70) won B Grade, with Peter George (93/74) runner up, after a count back against Jimmy Stephen and Peter Welling.
The ladies daily comp on Thursday was won by the girl of the moment, Steph Baker (82/69) in A Grade, from Selma Mayne (95/70).
Ayse Jewitt (99/71) took out B Grade, in front of Lirlene Crozier (103/72) after a count back with Leonie Nott.
A count back was needed to determine Fridays nine hole winner, with James Taylor just pipping Marie Irvine, both on 21 points.
The winner of the ladies saturday comp was Heather Klemm (92/73), from Chitra Rankin (93/75). Monthly Award play off for 2020 went to Chitra.
Saturday’s mens Stableford A grade winner was Tony Scullino with 37 points.
After a five way count back on 36 points, Greg Love was runner-up, with David Williams, Claude Dawson, Ken Upton and Greg Lee, just missing out.
Justin Lowe’s excellent 42 points gave him the win in B Grade after a count back with Ricky Hayes.
The medley Stableford on Sunday was won by Ian Davis on 38 points, with Jake Kiel in second place (37 points) after a count back against Nicholas George.
