Red Cliffs Cricket Association Round 8

A Grade

Rams the raging favourites

OUYEN Rams come up the highway today to face winless South West in Red Cliffs Cricket Association A Grade as hot favourites.

The Rams are second with three wins, two draws and two losses from their opening seven games while South West have three draws and four losses.

A win would help Ouyen keep pace with Nursery Ridge, who face fourth-placed Fire Brigade.

The Scorchers and Millewa are in a tussle for fourth spot, with Fire Brigade the incumbent, and an upset against top-of-the-table Ridge would be timely.

Millewa came through in thrilling fashion last time out against Tempy down in the Mallee and face them at home this time around.

B Grade

Leaders look for separation

CARDROSS and Ouyen Rams can exert their dominance on the B Grade competition today with wins against teams in the bottom four.

The Lions, top of the ladder and unbeaten, travel down the Calder to face fifth-placed Tempy, while Ouyen Rams host bottom side and winless South West.

Fire Brigade host Nursery Ridge in the local derby, with the Scorchers sitting in fourth and hoping to extend their gap on the chasing pack.

Millewa and Curlwaa have the bye.
