Red Cliffs Cricket Association Round 11

A GRADE
Bullants could feel the pinch

MILLEWA’S continued improvement in Red Cliffs A Grade will be put to the test away to Ouyen Rams today.

The Bullants have won their past two outings to sit 20 points clear inside the top four but have a difficult task in second-placed Rams down in the Mallee.

Their previous two wins were against Fire Brigade and South West, who occupy fifth and sixth on the ladder, so a top-four scalp would be a big get. A Millewa win would open the door for Tempy to jump into the top two. They are away to Fire Brigade.

Sitting equal on points with Ouyen, Tempy will be looking for any slip-up their Mallee rivals make.

In the round’s other game, top side Nursery Ridge should have little difficulty against South West.

B GRADE
Relatively easy tasks for ladder leaders

CARDROSS and Ouyen’s status at the top of the ladder shouldn’t be questioned too hard with the Lions travelling to play Millewa (seventh) and the Rams going to Tempy (sixth).

Both sides are yet to taste defeat, with six wins and two drawn matches.

Meanwhile, Millewa has just one win and Tempy only three, with the form line not in their favour.

South West, who sit last with one draw and seven losses, host third-placed Curlwaa, who should get the job done.

This is another split round for B Grade with Fire Brigade and Nursery Ridge having the week off.
