VETERANS
With the latest COVID lockdowns, fingers are crossed that veterans golf will be able to commence our district games as planned. The first is scheduled for March 1 at the Mildura Golf Resort.
From now on if there is a need to reschedule it will be communicated through each of the district clubs as soon as possible. The weekly Sunny Daily article will also be used.
We will use that very successfully word of mouth approach where we expect those who are in the know to tell others.
There is a change to the schedule distributed last month. A clash has necessitated that the July 5 championship round at Coomealla be swapped to August 2 and the July 5 round is swapped to Red Cliffs for the 4BBB stableford round.
Whatever issues arise the association will endeavour to reschedule rather that cancel events. They are great days and we don’t want to miss any of them.
