Sesame Street Circus Spectacular – Silvers Circus

Wentworth Showgrounds – 10.30am and 6.30pm

THERE will be fun for the whole family when the circus takes to the big top this week. The 90-minute extravaganza will see a host of performers from across the world hit the stage, as well as Sesame Street favourites including Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Bert and Ernie and Super Grover. Mildura Harness Racing Day Meeting

Mildura Harness Recreation Reserve, 11.00am-6pm

Mildura Weir parkrun

Opposite Rio Vista Park – 8am-10am

PARKRUN is on every Saturday morning and is open to all. The timed 5km course suits most skill levels and all participants are welcome to grab a coffee afterwards. Parkrun is free, but please register online at parkrun.com.au/milduraweir.

Mildura Dust-Off: Body Weather Workshop

62 Langtree Mall (old Priceline building) – 11am-4pm

AS part of Arts Mildura’s exciting 10-day residency by “body weather” performers Frank Van de Ven and Peter Fraser, artists and community members are invited to attend this workshop. Participants will use senses and movement to explore how the body and its environment are intermingled and continually changing, and will investigate how the body can stimulate and guide arts practice. No specific skills are required and all are welcome, but registration is essential. To enrol contact info@artsmildura.com.au.

Game Night

Mildura Church of Christ – 4pm-9.30pm

SUNRAYSIA Tabletop Gamers are holding a games night this weekend. People are encouraged to bring along their favourite games. Cost is $5 cash per person and snacks will be available. Under-18s must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Mildura Gets its Glow On: Festival of Lights

Mildura Racecourse – 5pm-8.30pm

MILDURA will get its glow with the festival lighting up the racecourse with an array of LED animal sculptures and a spectacular light show, as well as roving performers, market stalls and activities. Merbein’s main street comes alive on the third Sunday of each month, with stalls from local and interstate vendors selling fresh produce, arts and crafts, bric-a-brac, food and lots more.

Community Garden Hour

Mildura Eco Village – 10am-11am

THE Mildura Eco Village Community Garden hour is for anyone who is interested in gardening, helping out, getting together and chatting about all things garden. Locals are invited to go along and get their hands dirty as they pitch in to help the community garden flourish.
