Testing numbers plummet in Mildura

TESTING queues died down significantly in Mildura on Wednesday, with Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) issuing a statement at lunchtime that the Old Aerodrome Ovals testing site would be put on hold until further notice.

Testing will now be centralised back to the Mildura Recreation Reserve, including Tier 1, Tier 2, symptomatic and general tests. That site will be open 9am-4pm on Thursday and Friday, depending on demand.

The move comes after Mildura Central shopping centre and Caffeine Extraction were removed from the list of exposure sites on Tuesday night.

More than 2600 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Mildura since Sunday.
