Happy Birthday, I Got You A Fish

Cardross Hall – 7.30pm-10pm

THIS week marks the premiere of Red Cliffs Players’ latest production, an original play from two up-and-coming local playwrights. Happy Birthday, I Got You A Fish offers a fun-filled night out for theatre lovers of all ages, as the audience follows a group of ragtag spies on a mission to save a girl from the world’s most inept scientists. Mildura Weir parkrun

Opposite Rio Vista Park – 8am-9am

PARKRUN is on every Saturday morning and is open to anyone. The 5km course suits most skill levels and all participants are welcome to grab a coffee afterwards. Parkrun is free, but please register online at parkrun.com.au/milduraweir

Sunraysia Farmers Market

Jaycee Park – 8am-noon

HELD on the banks of the picturesque Murray River, the farmers’ market offers a bounty of produce from local growers and makers, with everything from fresh veg to dried fruit and baked goods. The big farmers’ breakfast spread with freshly squeezed juice is always a hit.

Return of the Game

SUNRAYSIA Tabletop Gamers are holding a games night this weekend. People are encouraged to bring along their favourite board and table games to play. Cost is $5 cash per person and snacks will be available. Under-18s must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Community Garden Hour

Mildura Eco Village – 10am-11am

THE Mildura Eco Village Community Garden hour is for anyone who is interested in gardening, helping out, getting together and chatting about all things gardening. Locals are invited to go along and get their hands dirty as they pitch in to help the community garden flourish.

CHAILIS High Tea

Garden of Hope – 1.30pm-4pm

THIS Sunday’s High Tea is the perfect opportunity to step out and enjoy tea with friends overlooking Lake Hawthorn and the beautiful Garden of Hope. Funds raised through ticket sales and a raffle will go towards CHAILIS to help seriously ill children and their families in Sunraysia. Tickets are $40 and bookings are essential. Sunday Jazz

Mildura Arts Centre – 3pm-4pm

SUNDAY’S performance from international performers Natalija Havrilenko and Penn Farmer will include “wonderful renditions of some well-known jazz songs” as they take to the stage for Mildura Arts Centre’s first performance back after lockdown. Tickets are available for $10 from Mildura Arts Centre.
