Testing fixture wait for the Sunraysia Cricket Association

THE Sunraysia Cricket Association will decide on any change to the start of the 2021-22 Sunraysia Cricket Association (SCA) cricket season after it receives further clarification from Cricket Victoria this week.

SCA season fixtures are scheduled to begin in less than two weeks, however, under the current COVID-19 roadmap for regional Victoria, the indicative date for return to community sport is November 5, when the government anticipates 80 per cent of the 16 and over population will be vaccinated.

Further changes to fixtures could also be on the cards, as the SCA awaits clarification regarding whether matches scheduled in Gol Gol and Coomealla Wentworth can be played as planned.
