Luxury houseboat ready to make waves

THE newest Mildura houseboat to grace the Murray has luxury fit for a king – six of them, in fact, since that’s how many super-sized suites are on board.

Built from the ground up in Mildura, Iconic Luxury is the 16th houseboat to join the fleet of All Seasons Houseboats.

Business owner Jodie Bromley said the houseboat was even better than what she imagined it could be.

“It is the epitome of five-star luxury with 6 king bedrooms all with private ensuites on the bottom level, with the top level all living,” she said.

“There are smart televisions and split system air conditioning in all of the bedrooms, large heated spa and television on the back deck, so you can sit back and watch the races.

“Upstairs has outdoor dining with a flat plate and grill or you can cook inside with the large gourmet kitchen, make yourself a cocktail from the cocktail bar or sit on the couches near the gas log fire.”

Ms Bromley said the houseboat has every amenity you could possibly wish for.

“It’s come together better then we could have imagined,” she said.

“Everything we have done is what we would consider super luxurious.”

The final touches are being completed on the 18.5-metre wide and 23-metre long houseboat, which began construction three months ago, with most materials sourced locally.

“Because of COVID restrictions we had to source as much as we could locally and it’s a real credit to those we worked with including Baldwin Boats, who hadn’t created anything like this before,” she said.

“We are really pumped to have it on the water and soon to be available to hire.”

With the two-storey river boat sleeping up 12, Ms Bromley expects it will be popular among many looking for a five-star holiday.

“If COVID has taught me anything, it’s that there is a whole lot of people wanting super luxury and they have the money to spend with many still cautious to holiday overseas,” she said.

“Houseboating is a real bucket list item for people to do, going on this may just be someone’s dream.

“It’s a great boat for couples and also a great boat for families who want everything at their finger tips.”

Iconic Luxury is set to be available to hire in the coming month.
