THE next district veteran golfers event will see members travelling the down the Sturt Highway to Robinvale on Monday August 5 for a single Stableford event. The club never seems to fail to make visitors and members feel welcomed. So it’s well worth the trip to enjoy a popular day of golf with the course in excellent condition.

One recent change is the club’s decision to replace the sand traps. They have been allowed to grow over and are now designated GUR. Players can leave their sand irons in their bags.

A bright and early start will be needed. The starting time, is as usual, with registrations commencing at 8.30am with the shotgun start at 9.30am. There are carts available for hire for those who require one but it’s advisable that you contact the club prior to the day and walkers will be catered for.

Please remember to check your PA score to ensure you are playing off the correct handicap. Robinvale does not have white markers for men so the blue will be in use on the day.
