GRAND final rematches are always keenly anticipated, and Ouyen and Tempy will be up and about for it.
The Rams and the Tigers collide in Red Cliffs Cricket Association action at Blackburn Park, with the former looking to keep their winning streak in tact.
Ouyen have won their last three games against Tempy, with the Tigers’ last victory back on February 6 last year. Two games have also been called draws within that time.
Both have played just the one game so far this season it is hard to get a read on where they are at currently.
Rams opener Conor Schultz scored a century against Cardross before their split round bye last week in the best possible opening to a season. Daniel Pryse (28) and Ethan Munro (21) were also handy at the top of the order.
With the ball, Sam Mead did the damage taking 4/17, but they have dangerous options across the board including Alex Morrish, Pryse and Daniel Kay.
While it was slow on the scoring end for Tempy in their opening outing of the season, finishing on 87, they would be happy with their bowling effort that held Fire Brigade to just 56.
Tate Hulland (4/20), Joel Grace (3/10), Nic Monaghan (2/1) and Heath Smith (1/25) all shared the spoils.
Expect the game of the round to take place down the highway.
In other games, Millewa could finally get on the park for the first time this season, facing off against Robinvale Euston at Len Arnott Oval.
The Bullants have been washed out in all three of their scheduled A Grade games so far, while they also had the bye in last week’s split round.
The Rangers meanwhile are on top of the table having won both of their completed matches so far.
Robinvale Euston rolled Cardross for 73 last week and ran down the target with five wickets in hand.
Braidyn Turner has adjusted to life well with his new side with the bat, while Dilan Kottahachige and Travis Shawcross both impressed with the ball last week.
In the final game, both Fire Brigade and Cardross will look to open their account for the season at Quandong Park.
