MILDURA has been rated one of Australia’s most welcoming towns.
Booking.com on Tuesday announced the recipients of its 11th annual Traveller Review Awards for 2023, with Mildura one of three Victorian locations listed in the top 10.
Port Campbell on the Great Ocean Road, and Halls Gap in the Grampians were listed top two, with Mildura coming in ninth on the list.
This year’s Traveller Review Awards were based on a pool of over 240 million verified customer reviews on Booking.com with 1.36 million accommodation partners, 230 car rental providers and 58 airport taxi suppliers receiving an award in 2023, including 19,238 from Australia.
The Gold Coast placed 10th on the top 10 most welcoming cities on earth.
