Mildura units rise in value

UNITS in Mildura have skyrocketed in value, increasing at the 10th highest rate for regional Victoria.

According to property analysis company PropTrack, the median value of a unit in Mildura increased 59 per cent in the five years to April 2023.

The median value currently sits at $305,000, having increased $113,000 since April 2018.

Wendouree had the highest value increase for regional Victoria with 91 per cent growth, followed closely behind by Wangaratta (89 per cent) and Morwell (87 per cent).

Mildura was just behind Cowes and Warrnambool, both of which recorded a 66 per cent increase.

Bright was listed as having the highest house value increase for regional Victoria at 152 per cent.

Mildura was not named on the list, which featured Venus Bay, Trentham, San Remo, Orbost, Anglesea and Wy Yung.

Over the past five year’s Mildura’s median house value increased less significantly than those listed.

But the increase was on par with the town’s unit increase of 59 per cent.

The median house value currently sits at $420,000.
