Chance for teams in Millewa A Grade netball

TWO Millewa A Grade netball teams have the opportunity to jump a spot on the ladder when they face their opponents this weekend.

Bambill, who are in second-place, will play top-team Nangiloc.

The Demons are only one win ahead of the Saints, who have one draw up their sleeve.

Bambill would claim the first-placed position if they were to defeat the Demons at Nangiloc Oval.

Both teams have only lost one game.

Last time the two met on Mega Day, Nangiloc defeated Bambill by seven goals.

Meringur, however, will have their eye on fourth place, as they play Gol Gol at Lake Cullulleraine.

Gol Gol are only ahead of Meringur thanks to their draw against Bambill.

The Hawks also have a slightly higher percentage than the Kangaroos.

In their previous encounter, Gol Gol defeated Meringur by 14 goals.

Meanwhile, also at the lake, third-placed Werrimull will take on bottom-of-the-ladder Cardross.

Cardross are only one win behind Gol Gol and Meringur.

All players and spectators heading to Lake Cullulleraine are asked to use the facilities for the game they are there for, and pay to the corresponding club on entry.
