THE Red Cliffs Cricket Association felt the full force of Mother Nature last round when all five games across both grades were cancelled.
The first-placed Ouyen Rams having the bye this round ultimately means the four remaining A Grade clubs have a chance to make up ground as the midway point of the season fast approaches.
Nursery Ridge and Tempy Tigers will meet for the second time this season, the winner likely to claim second place.
Last time the two sides met, Tigers had one of their most rounded performances of the season as they breezed to a 75-run victory.
Ryan Mckay’s 78 runs proved the difference in that match, paired with some good team bowling that had Nursery Ridge all out for just 62.
In the other match, it’ll be a good opportunity for the lowly Robinvale Euston and Millewa Bullants to surge up the ladder.
Robinvale Euston are the only team that’s beaten Ouyen Rams this season, but that victory occurred in round 1.
They will be hoping to regain some form against Millewa, whose sole win came against Tempy Tigers in round 3.
