Finals match-ups still to be settled

RCCA IN FOCUS – Round 17

THE top four is now secure in the Red Cliffs Cricket Association, with the final order to be determined over the final two rounds of the A Grade season.

Reigning champions Ouyen Rams and Nursery Ridge already have a handle on the top two spots, and although it may change, it’s likely the latter will host Tempy and the former to tackle Robinvale Euston.

Millewa Bullants are a game and a half outside the top four but with the bye this week, have only one game remaining.

Tempy have the chance to offer a blow to their near neighbours’ 11-match winning streak when they host the Rams this weekend.

While they had the bye the previous round, the Tigers lost their last contest to Robinvale Euston and will look to pick up their form ahead the business end of the season.

Ouyen will be back from a week off of their own with the Rangers forfeiting last week’s contest.

The Rangers will be back at home at Len Arnott Oval this week to host Ridge, who swept past Millewa last week by nine wickets, dismissing the Bullants for just 32.

Jason Finch (3/1) and Allan Brown (3/17), did the damage before John Mensforth scored an unbeaten 20 to get them home.
