Mildura Squash seeing double

MILDURA Sporting Precinct held its first official doubles squash matches this week, as Mildura Squash Division 1 players incorporated doubles into their winter fixture.

All players played out a shortened singles match, before teaming up with a partner to face their foes in a doubles setting.

As part of the MSP developments, four new squash courts are now up and running, with movable dividing walls allowing for more space for doubles matches.

Alongside use for the local squash competition it is hoped this unique feature will attract more high-level squash players for future events.
