VETERANS
DESPITE inclement weather during last week’s district vets event, 40 players still participated.
There are new members joining each month and there is plenty of great reasons to do so.
Veteran golf provides an opportunity for male and female golfers to participate in a physical activity but also to benefit mentally and from socialising with like-minded people.
A different course is played each month, so it gives golfers a chance to test their skills away from their own course.
Lunch is catered for at all events as well as the chance to enjoy a well earned drink at the 19th hole.
How do you become involved? Simply turn up to our next event, which is a single Stableford event at the Robinvale Golf Club on Monday, September 2, at 8.30am to register.
