A CORONER has raised concerns about housing options for newly released prisoners following the death of a Mildura man by suicide just days after being released from prison.

The Coroners Court of Victoria heard the 38-year-old had served a sentence of 18 months' imprisonment until his release on December 12, 2020, and died on the last day that he had access to emergency accommodation.
