SEVERAL caring community members leapt to the aid of an elderly couple whose car broke down on Tuesday during the hottest part of the day.

Mick and Joyce Keeble, aged 91 and 89, had finished running errands on Lime Avenue near Sunraysia Radiology, and had hopped into their 2003 Ford Falcon.
