WENTWORTH Shire councillors and residents ventured to the Toorale National Park and State Conservation Area last week, to engage in a two-day conservation about water operations.
The park is part of a now-defunct cotton, sheep and cattle station south west of Bourke.
The Federal and New South Wales governments purchased Toorale Station in 2009, and the associated 25.5 gigalitres in water rights.
