A MAN banned from Echuca has been refused bail for alleged aggravated burglaries at Mildura Base Public Hospital and a backpacker-style accommodation.

Daniel Carter, 28, was arrested on Thursday and brought before the Mildura Magistrates' Court the following day.

Police had requested the man's bail be opposed, arguing he would pose an unacceptable risk of reoffending.
