EMERGENCY services were called to Mildura Airport just after midnight Thursday with reports of an issue with a plane's landing gear. 

The State Emergency Service, Mildura police, Country Fire Authority and Ambulance Victoria attended inline with safety procedures, with the plane, believed to be part of a local flying school, landing safely about 1.30am.
