Cupper calls for ban on Melbourne travel to regional areas

Motorists wouldn't be able to drive up the Calder Highway from Melbourne while coronavirus numbers remained high under a proposal by Member for Mildura Ali Cupper.

MEMBER for Mildura Ali Cupper has called for a blanket ban on travel for Melbourne residents while metropolitan coronavirus numbers remain high.

Ms Cupper said the potential for the virus to continue spreading meant more stringent restrictions were needed.
